From these pictures, you would never believe that it rained all morning, and when I say rain, it belted down! But the timing was perfect, and when Laurie arrived for the humanist ceremony in her dad’s field in Lower Machen, the scene was set for the most wonderful day, with the most amazing views of the valley surrounding Lower Machen with Cardiff bay, the Millennium Stadium and the river Severn in the distance.
They were joined by all of their close friends and family and celebrated in style with a feel of rustic Italian styling with a more luxury and chic twist. The reception marquee was decorated with stunning floral chandeliers, candles as far as the eye could see, olive trees, bottles of limoncello, and two amazing cakes! Guests were treated to a stunning firework display and an amazing live band to finish the night off. And did I mention the food! Out of this world!
Plus I had the bonus of working with Aurora Wedding Films for the first time, they are absolutely amazing.
I first met with Laurie & Ian in June 2014 when baby Jessy was just a little bump! I met with them again back in July for their engagement shoot combined family shoot, here’s the pictures from that beautiful day Laurie & Ian Engagement shoot
