Autumn Welsh Castle Wedding
Hensol Castle
Laura and Ryan
Laura and Ryan’s wedding took place on a beautiful Autumn day at Hensol Castle.
I first met with Laura and her mum about two years ago, but yesterday I finally got to meet Ryan for the first time, but we’ll forgive him as he’s been pretty busy serving his country!
I caught up with Laura at her mums home where she was getting ready with her bridesmaids for her big day. Her blue Valentino shoes were the most amazing bridal shoes I’ve ever seen! Laura’s bridal gown was a stunning bespoke piece by Amy Mair Couture and her bridesmaids looked amazing in their ivory dresses from Laura May Bridal
Owen my second shooter went to the Vale Hotel to find Ryan getting ready, who looked handsome in his military uniform. It was soon time to head to Hensol Castle, Laura travelling with her Dad in a beautiful vintage car, where she was treated to a Guard of Honour upon arrival.
Ryan was waiting for her rather nervously, but with his brothers by his side, it was time to get this show on the road! Laura’s dad proudly walked her up the aisle, and Ryan’s nephew’s bravely got up to give a reading.
After the ceremony their guests were treated to some beautiful singing from the Llantrisant Male Voice choir – goosebumps!! The reception room looked fabulous as always, with some stunning creations by Hilary’s Flowers and a stunning white four tier cake by Wish Upon A Cupcake.
After a fabulous wedding breakfast, the speeches began, and Ryan’s brother managed to break everyone with his poem, funny and sweet, and straight from the heart. Once the cake was cut it was time for dancing and sparklers!!
Big thank you to Owen for second shooting
And always amazing to work alongside Aurora
