Sydney, Australia
Travel and Landscape Photography
I absolutely LOVE travelling, I’ve been very fortunate to shoot quite a few destination weddings, but I also love taking landscape photographs, just for myself.
Last October we spent three weeks in Sydney visiting my brother and his family who live out there, and obviously, I simply had to take my camera with me when we had such a big trip planned.
We stayed in the city for a week, before heading up the coast to Foresters Beach for the weekend staying in their incredible beach house. I loved having the opportunity to use my drone on the beach, the colour of the water was insane, so green! And capturing the surfers riding the waves was something else.
Then we headed to the Blue Mountains for a few days, staying in Katoomba, which is like going back in time! We were very lucky to have had a chance to experience The Blue Mountains National Park, travelling on all of the cable cars, looking down into the rain forest below, as it was just a few weeks later when the terrible fires across New South Wales started.
I packed my tripod too and did a bit of long exposure night time photography, looking out over Sydney Harbour Bridge and the city, lights and colours reflecting on the water, and catching the most amazing electric storm from our balcony at our Sydney apartment Zara Tower.
Watsons Bay in Sydney is one of our favourite places, the most amazing fish and chips! And the sunset was just stunning.
I hope you enjoy looking at the pictures as much as I did taking them 🙂
