Together Beach Shoot with Lucy and Emily
It’s a funny story about how this shoot came about!
I met Lucy’s mum, Sue, in a bar in Alykanas the night we arrived.
We got chatting, and Sue told me about her daughter’s upcoming wedding the following day to Emily.
Naturally, I asked if they had a photographer organised, which, of course, they did.
But I mentioned how lovely it would be to do a post-wedding Together shoot on the beach.
So Sue put me in touch with Lucy, and the rest, as they say, is history!

We had so much fun doing this shoot.
As you may notice, Emily is pregnant, so they have some exciting times ahead.
They told me how they had a gender reveal celebration at the wedding, so their first dance was mostly lots of happy tears and rather than dancing!
So I got them to do a few little spins on the beach!

SO YOU’VE DECIDED TO HEAD FOR THE SUN AND GET MARRIED ABROAD RATHER THAN AT HOME, AND NOW YOU HAVE THE HUGE TASK OF PLANNING AN ENTIRE WEDDING FROM A DISTANCE. WHERE TO START!!
Lots of holiday companies offer an all-inclusive wedding package that often includes a photographer, the chances are you will end up with a hotel photographer who may not necessarily specialise in weddings, or you may feel rushed into selecting your wedding images to be printed in an album before you leave for home, with no digital copy or without the opportunity to properly sit down and look at all of your images in your own time. You may only be offered a limited number of hours of coverage. And you probably won’t be able to view their portfolio in advance, so you’ll have no idea what to expect of them on your day.
SO WHY NOT TAKE YOUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER ABROAD WITH YOU?
I along with my 2nd shooter will be there from start to finish, capturing your entire day, and even a sunset shoot the day before or day after your wedding. And you will receive the full set of edited images for you to select your album pictures at your leisure. You’ll also have a very good idea of what to expect, as you will be able to view my galleries of previous weddings I’ve photographed abroad, and we will have the opportunity to discuss the plan for the day in advance, in the comfort of my office.

“It’s one less thing to think about closer to the time, we feel confident and assured that it’s all in hand prior to our arrival at the venue. Having a pre-wedding shoot to get used to being natural in front of a camera is a bonus! Building up a relationship before the wedding so that we feel 100% comfortable and at ease on the big day! It’s also nice to be able to see the final product, like the wedding albums and the different styles – we loved having the opportunity to look through them! The language barrier is non-existent – nothing will get lost/misunderstood in translation.
