April and Kevin’s stunning lakeside wedding at Lake Bled, Slovenia
April and Kevin chose Lake Bled, Slovenia, to celebrate their big day along with their friends and family.
Their day could not have been more perfect!
Bridal preparation took place at Vila Grad, and it wasn’t long before April made her way to Vila Bled by horse and carriage where Kevin was early awaiting the arrival of his bride in the gardens overlooking Castle Bled.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed canapés and champagne on the terrace at Vila Bled.
And a short while later we traveled by boat to the island in the center of the lake, where Kevin, as per the local tradition, carried April to the top of the steps! 99 in all!
And another tradition is to ring the bell in the church at the top.
Guests were treated to cake and drinks on the terrace at the top of the island,
before heading back to Vila Bled.
We headed to Castle Bled to spend the rest of the evening, where April and Kevin celebrated in style, enjoying a fabulous meal and some fantastic tunes into the night.

Lots of holiday companies offer an all-inclusive wedding package that often includes a photographer, the chances are you will end up with a hotel photographer who may not necessarily specialise in weddings, or you may feel rushed into selecting your wedding images to be printed in an album before you leave for home, with no digital copy or without the opportunity to properly sit down and look at all of your images in your own time. You may only be offered a limited number of hours of coverage. And you probably won’t be able to view their portfolio in advance, so you’ll have no idea what to expect of them on your day.
SO WHY NOT TAKE YOUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER ABROAD WITH YOU?
I along with my 2nd shooter will be there from start to finish, capturing your entire day, and even a sunset shoot the day before or day after your wedding. And you will receive the full set of edited images for you to select your album pictures at your leisure. You’ll also have a very good idea of what to expect, as you will be able to view my galleries of previous weddings I’ve photographed abroad, and we will have the opportunity to discuss the plan for the day in advance, in the comfort of my office.
